“I’m very happy to see a solution like Skycure on iPhone. It gives peace of mind and unique protection for our increasingly wireless lives.”
Last week Skycure app received an EXCELLENT review in PC Magazine — by Max Eddy, Fahmida Y. Rashid.
The folks at PC Magazine participated in demo sessions with Adi Sharabani. They said they found the demo “pretty impressive”, but added that they also like to test things out for themselves. So they tested Skycure in the PCMag labs against several simulated attacks on an iPhone.
Skycure worked as expected. It identified the suspicious behaviors and reported them in a descriptive and useful way within the app, and via notifications.
Not that they considered everything to be quite perfect. They gave us some useful feedback about how the activation process was briefly confusing to them, and how the Auto Protection switch (designed for use with the enterprise version) was misleading on the free version. Of course we might have excused ourselves by saying that after all our product is aimed mainly at corporations, but no – we won’t make excuses – we take our user research and feedback seriously.
So based on their comments, as well as feedback from elsewhere, we’ve already fixed these two issues for the next iOS release – which will be out soon.
