Last week at RSA Conference 2015 was very busy for all of us at Skycure. We disclosed a new iOS vulnerability – ”No iOS Zone” and received unprecedented coverage in the mainstream press: The Register, Gizmodo, The Guardian, Forbes, SC Magazine, PC World, PC Magazine, Business Insider, Network World, ZDNet and many more including the #1 spot on the YCombinator news site. All of this, by the way, made us add a few more servers to handle a big surge in blog traffic. Our presentation on Mobile Vulnerabilities: From Data Breach to Complete Shutdown was selected as a Featured Talk and highlighted on the RSA website. Our finding on the iOS vulnerability was a central topic at hundreds of customer/analyst/prospect meetings.
As head of marketing at Skycure, I couldn’t have been happier with the results. We reached hundreds of thousands on SoMe, and brought in thousands of Skycure website visitors plus hundreds of pingbacks. We even got an award for the best giveaways at RSAC :).
Winner of the Apple Watch
Other than Skycure, there was one more lucky winner – the winner of our Apple Watch raffle prize. Hundreds of RSAC attendees participated and we are now going to announce the winner:
The winner and the proud owner of a brand new shiny Apple Watch is: Christian Ohlendorf from San Diego, California.
Christian, congrats on the win. We will be reaching out to you soon by email.
